That's true. Radmin is a tool more appropriate for permanent use in one LAN as it takes too many steps to set up first connection between PCs which is a way difficult and annoying.

So I understand you Davide and would recommend to use

Ammyy Admin http://www.ammyy.com
which is quite simple but absolutely brilliant for tech support as it doesn't require installation, registration and works behind NAT..or Teamviewer http://teamveiwer.com which is also good but seems a bit complicated comparing to Ammyy.

Radmin requires installation in the client's computer. That may be fine for permanent use between two computers, but is unacceptable for tech support. I any case, installation takes at least 10 minutes (I finally gave up and clicked "Cancel").

Oh well. The search for a good remote access app continues...

Radmin looks like a good product. A better alternative may be RHUB's TurboMeeting. We use TurboMeeting and it is very solid: it handles reconnects well, it does every remote admin task you could want.
