I really like Puppy linux, for a nice quick and easy linux that runs completely from RAM. I first found this distro, when I was looking for a good linux that a friend of mine could run from his USB stick. He doesnt even need to reformat the Fat32 stick. It can just boot, and save your changes into a file on your stick, its great.

I have been using either LighthousePup or Fire Hydrant Inferno lately, because they come with more of what I use/need in my OSs. There are many variations of Puppy, they are called puplets. So A version might have more of what you are wanting, just look around for it.
