Very helpful and often-recommended tool when shrinking partitions since it allows for defragmentation (and re-placement) of locked system files during boot-time (e.g. the MFT). MFT data is often placed towards the end of the disk and blocks shrinking efforts using Windows' partition shrink feature (Vista and above).
