PDFCreator

I couldn't manage to overcome MSCOMCTL*.OCX errors. They must do something about it. Then I start using CutePDF Writer without any problems. Just works...

I did not have a problem removing the toolbar, which I agree is a nuisance.

The toolbar which is mentioned as adware/malware, is no longer a part of the program as of version 1.2.0.

Is the toolbar really malware? I would think it should be classified as adware. The browser hi-jacking is not nice, but from what I understand it does not have any malicious behavior (trojans, etc) other than displaying ads?

If we classify the toolbar as 'malicious', consequently, we should flag the app with a warning. Otherwise we should change the wording to 'aggressive adware' or 'adware without proper uninstall routines'.

I prefer qvPDF (1) as pdf-printer, because he has more functions than all other pdf-printers:
qvPDF is a PDF creator for Windows, but you can also merge & split pdf-documents.

In this way you can enjoy PDFCreator without malwares and problem :)

It's the same in PDFCreator as in Bullzip pdf-printer: In the head line and footing line there should be the URL, date and "page X of N". The font of this information was defective, so that this information is not legible. In spite of some search I found for it no functioning settings. If someone has a solution for this problem, it would be nice to inform here about it with a comment.
