What is PayZip?
It’s an easy way for community-based clubs to manage member payments.
Why would people use it?
Running any club or society involves volunteers’ time and dedication. From our own experience we understand the challenges faced by those collecting money from members. Using PayZip, club organisers and treasurers can now send invoices via email so members can pay securely online. PayZip supports both desktop and mobile devices, so payments can be taken in-the-field – literally!
Because PayZip’s dashboard is always completely up-to-date, you will always know who still owes you money and can send payment reminders to those members with just a click of a button, saving valuable time each month.
How does it work?
Using PayZip’s simple invoice builder, a club organiser creates a set of invoices, customising amounts for individual members where required. The invoices are then sent by email to each member. Members choose how they want to pay – whether that’s online, or a manual payment in-person, whatever suits them. Manual payments are easily recorded by organisers in PayZip, online payments are reconciled automatically.
To take online payments, there’s a simple upgrade process where we carry out the necessary identity checks, then the money collected is paid into the club’s bank account once a week. No petrol cost, parking charges, time spent waiting at the bank or paying-in fees.
