Paperwork Comments

Not really as convenient.

Comment by JohnFastman
about Paperwork and TagSpaces, NixNote, Turtl 14 days ago

This falls short of a full review, but:

  1. One of the ideas behind Evernote is that it has clients on different desktops and a browser plugin for convenience. Linux users, for whom Evernote provides no client, have to login via the web, which is annoying. (Unless they use Nixnote.) Paperwork is all web interface. So no offline notes, one gathers. Also there's no browser plugin, so far as I can see.

  2. The demo on the site doesn't work. You have to download the files to find other online demos mentioned. What a pointless inconvenience.

By contrast, Turtl and Tagspaces both have clients on all platforms and browser plugins. (And encryption in the case of Turtl.)
