Development of OpenSolaris has been discontinued. Oracle has replaced the OpenSolaris distribution model with the commercial Solaris Express. OpenSolaris was an open source operating system based on Sun Microsystems Solaris. It was also the name of the project initiated by Sun to build a developer and user community around it. More info »
