MetroTwit Reviews

Maybe it's just twitter fault...

Positive Review by Eostyx
about MetroTwit and Seesmic, TweetDeck Feb 2012

I don't know why it is doing this, but Twitter has to be constantly reauthorised... Occasionally it drops out and you basically have to restart the whole program. It doesn't update your own tweets either, so if you made a spelling mistake, too bad.

While the Metro style interface looks nice (nicer than the actually Metro GUI from Microsoft IMHO), it tends to soak up large portions of your RAM. It isn't as RAM heavy as TweetDeck/Seesmic, given it has lots of leaks or overgrown silverlight.

  • *MetroTwit *::
  • RAM = 100 - 120MB
  • Performance = Awesome
  • GUI = Practical, simple & straight forward to use.
  • Features = Some are non-responsive for when I used it

Try it if you're shopping around, doesn't hurt to try something different.
