Absolutely agree with Zillion - It's a remote control product, best aimed to access your own computers but is NOT a tech support product.

I prefer Ammyy Admin or Team Viewer for remote desktop access as both software requres minimum steps to start the session. Ammyy Admin needs only download and start. You click connect and you're already manipulating remote PC.

Have a look a the features: they're almost the same:

LogMeIn Free' s registration process is way too difficult, the download is too big, and the installation process is too complex!

An alternative to LogMeIn is TurboSupport (http://www.turbosupport.com) . It costs just $19.95 per month.

I tried this platform before, I feel that I prefer Team Viewer more. The ease of Team Viewer during desktop manipulation and file transfer is great (great for moderating lan parties). However, LogMeIn is still great tool and I recommend trying it.

Also, @ Zillion, I've had no problem running Team Viewer over a windows domain to a private network or different domain.

For tech support, compared to other solutions (TeamViewer, Ammyy, CrossLoop), LogMeIn Free' s registration process is way too cumbersome, the download is way too big, and the installation process is too complex.

I am sure that LogMeIn Rescue is far more appropriate for tech support, but not at $ 1200. The price should really be $ 250.

LogMeIn is very good. If you need secure connections, RHUB's appliance can be placed behind a firewall. RHUB's TurboMeeting does remote support/access like LogMeIn.
