Nice distro. Use it daily. However, I have a feeling that the screenshots are a bit outdated. Linux Mint 10 doesn't use the green standard scheme anymore but uses a metallic scheme instead.

Absolutely easy to use, wonderful distribution. I'd recommend it to any newbies, or anyone really of any skill level.

By far, my favorite OS. I tried Ubuntu on multiple occasions and just couldn't get a feel for it. IMHO, Ubuntu's interface is ugly and I don't like spending any more time than I have to getting it setup into a working state that I prefer. Mint is all the good of Ubuntu with little/none of the bad.

The best linux distro! Everything you will ever need is already in there, video codecs, flash, and all that other stuff Ubuntu doesn't like including. Gets you up and going easily out of the box. Heck, it'll even tell you when there are proprietary codecs available for your hardware that run better than the ones included. Don't skip it!
