Launchy is absolutely brilliant! Actually, I have never used Windows start menu after I installed it. Not only Launchy lets you run any app just in second, but it also significantly simplifies working with various online services (like search, translation, bookmarks etc). Via plugins you can extend its functionality even more.
And of course there is a bulit-in calculator :)

I'm not clear on how this is better than the search bar built into the Start Menu of Windows 7.

very very nice program! Since i use this app i've got rid of all my quick launchicons! :]

If you try this app, try typing in "google" [TAB] "word you want to search", i've added wolfram alpha, dict.leo.org...

All in all it makes my workflow so much faster!!

Very handy, I hardly use my start menu anymore and even use it for most little calculations over MS Calc.

It got a bit slower under Windows 7 however, but that might be just me.
