    • It's better to use a password manager than not. By a mile. So use LastPass rather than nothing. But KeePass is prefereable because a) it stores your passwords locally rather than putting it into some US company's hands, b) LastPass doesn't encrypt domain names of your accounts, c) KeePass is open source. • KeeWeb is KeePass-compatible & open source. It has most of the most important functions, although it is less well-established and lacks plugin support to extend its functionality and offer browser integration. • Enpass isn't bad, but it's not fully open source. The database format locks you into the Enpass format, which other apps don't open. No two-factor authentication. Hard to see the advantage over KeePass, except perhaps if you only use Mac in which case the browser integration is smoother. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree

    • Genius invention. Doesn't store your passwords anywhere; it generates them everytime you put in the same Master password and username/website domain. Therefore, your password database can't be hacked - it doesn't exist. However, it's harder to change passwords for accounts because you have to use the iteration feature. Test it to see if it suits your needs. Thumbs up for open source also. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree
