Windows Internet Explorer (IE) is a graphical web browser developed by Microsoft and has been included as part of the Windows operating system since 1995. It has been the most widely used web browser since 1999, attaining a peak of about 95% usage share during 2002 and 2003 with IE5 and IE6 but steadily declining since, with a current usage share of about 44%. I don't like IE, but I have to admit that Internet Explorer 9 is faster with Flash contents (like flash games) than Firefox 4. So much for that.

I'm only going to update since it looks more secure than IE8, but for whatever IE9 has to bring, doesn't benefit me as a Firefox/Opera user.

If you got IE, do the following:

  1. Get Firefox
  2. Get rid of IE

The only reason that IE gets used is because many people that have Windows just know that its the "internet" and don't even know what a browser is. I have met a few people who actually prefer it. i think because its either because that's what came with the computer or they don't like installing things.

IE stinks. It's slow and it eats memory like nothing I've ever seen before. The only reason why it survives is cuz it's shipped with Windows.

Hey guys if anyone here are using Internet Explorer, please stop that. Many and many new features of the web wasn't been used becouse IE's incompatibility.
