This app will not help big restaurant chefs in their daily work. What this app will help is more for small eateries, small time cooks working in food trucks, mom-and-pop eateries etc that need to serve up a lot of dishes within a short hour or two. Most of the time, waiter/waitress will take orders from their customers. They will then forward the order containing the dishes customer ordered to the cooks behind to do the dishes.
But sometimes if more than 1 customer opt for the same dish, it is more efficient for the cook to start cooking en masse for that specific dish instead. In contrast, if the cook is to prepare dishes based on each order submitted, it is not efficient as the woks or pots and utensils used for cooking, ingredients need change for different dishes within the order etc. More Info »
