Greenshot

I like it. It's lightweight, offers the most useful options (like (last) crop shot and window shot) and the built-in image editor can easily crop images. What I miss in comparition to ZScreen (Open Source too) for example, is to select not only whole windows but elements of windows, like bars or dialoges and seperators - this is what I miss with Greenshot.

great program, almost identical to SnagIt! all it is missing is a scrolling webpage function.

I especially like the concept of plug-ins, the program is reasonably small, but can be extended with additional output modes

Of the free/open source screenshot tools. This is by far my favorite.

Pros: 156Kb, no need to install, text/draw editor
