    • Firefox allows far more control over your privacy than does Chrome (or even Chromium on which Chrome is based). Not jut because it doesn't come with Google stuff embedded, but also because it allows complete control over things like webRTC (which can leak info about your IP address, hardware), whereas Chrome/Chromium and related browsers don't have this control. Guest • Nov 2016 Disagree   Agree
    • It uses a lot less resources than Chrome. Also it doesn't have all the Google BS everywhere. Guest • Oct 2016 Disagree   Agree
    • Although Mozilla Firefox has options to enlarge the text size etc. the pages, video's and writing are still far too small and the user has to adjust the '+ and -' on every page. Apart from that I like their extensions, safety features, privacy and automatic history & cookie deletion. Thanks. Guest • 10 days ago Disagree   Agree

Microsoft Edge DOES store info about where you've been, even if you've been there using its InPrivate mode. (http://betanews.com/2016/01/30/stop-using-microsoft-edges-inprivate-mode-if-you-value-your-privacy/). Switch to an open source browser. There are plenty of good ones. • Chrome fans will do well to realise that Chrome is proprietary and contains a lot of code designed to spy on what you do online, correlate this with the rest of your Google account data and use it to make money. Iridium, on the other hand, takes the Chromium codebase and specifically removes privacy-invading parts. Unlike Chrome, Iridium is open source, so you can check the code yourself, if you wish. Some functionality is reduced (e.g. Flash) but in that case try Vivaldi. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree

    • Liri is a work in progress. It also does little to explain what it's purpose is compared to Chromium, or other related browsers. If you are looking for an open source Chrome alternative, it depends on how commited you are to it being Chrome compatible. If not, choose Firefox. Otherwise, go for Chromium or, even better, Iridium. Vivaldi is the best Chrome-compatible replacement that is not open source. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree
