Pretty close to what we're looking for to create instruction video's and demo's, but we turned it down, because it didn't record popup texts.
Had it working on an Asus laptop with Windows 8.1.

I've been using it for years and it just gets better and better with each new version -- of which there are plenty as it a very actively developed app. Some of the alternative apps are pretty good in their own right, but this one has and still blow them out of the water. (See my review for further details.)

Favorite screenshot/screen recording tool out there and I've tried all of them, from Jing to SnagIT and everything in between. Favorite feature is the ultra tiny screen recordings it makes with an intro frame option. Yes, this is not Adobe Premiere but then you wouldn't expect it to be for $20; which I was glad to pay.

I've tried numerous screenshot utilities, but I always come back to this one. Until recently I didn't know it was possible to upload via ftp. Now that I know, I highly doubt I'm going to look for something else soon.

There's also feature that I find extremely useful: Full control over cropping placement with the use of keyboard cursors. This is a must to me, and I'm baffled by the fact that no other screenshot utility seem have this feature.
