I've quickly become a huge fan of far manager. What really makes far manager is the plugins. Two examples of really great plugins are the winscp plugin that allows your to do sftp/scp from within far, and the user manager. The one neat feature of the user manager is it allows you require a user to change their password at next login in windows xp home edition. The xp home edition ui hides this feature normally.
