    • Twitter isn't very similar to Facebook. It's based on sharing short messages. You can follow the messages of people you like, and have them follow you. Twitter was made during the SMS age. It has struggled to seem modern like WhatsApp, which now offers video. Twitter has struggled to make a profit too; something tells me it won't be around for too many years more in its present form. • Facebook allows for long-form posts that can span paragraphs, while Twitter is only capable of recording fragments of thought. Guest • 3 days ago Disagree   Agree

    • Minds is an open source alternative to Facebook that values freedom of speech above all else. They do not censor post or videos because they disagree with them. Minds has a built in blogging system as well as video uploads. Best of all is Minds ability to use points to buy views for your post, enabling self-advertising on the site! • It's one of the better self promotion/likes fishers out there. Compared to having no fucking option to do so in FB outside of promotional pages, and its anti-censorship angle, it's actually pretty good. Phone app needs work. Guest • 2 days ago Disagree   Agree
    • Minds is an open source social media platformed developed by real people for people. End to end encrypted chat for your privacy, and zero censorship. Besides that, MINDS has a great community. Remember, great minds use MINDS! Guest • 2 days ago Disagree   Agree
    • It has a good mix of people and a lot of great discussion. grayrook2 days ago Disagree   Agree
    • Freedom of expression without fear of politically correct backlash from the site owners. FB removes people and groups based on political views. erikwards2 days ago Disagree   Agree
    • Minds enables growth of connections to occur quickly if you are highly involved on the site and produce good content, when taking into consideration the quantity of users on the site. Boosting of content and profile/channel views can be achieved (via a points system) and not merely bought. Minds also clearly rewards users with points for using the social media site itself, whether in accessing the site each hour or in uploading rich media content such as graphics or videos, unlike Facebook. • Similar appearance and functionality, easy to use, free software, decentralized, doesn't collect nor sell your personal info. riveravaldezNov 2016 Disagree   Agree
    • Diaspora's key advantage is that it's based on open source software that multiple servers can run. It does not put your private information, your likes, your contacts and your photos in the hands of one corporation who then use it to increase their own private profits by selling your privacy. Diaspora is much smaller though. The UI feels more like Google Plus than Facebook. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree
