Ok, first of all, I have to admit this WAS an awesome FREE indexer for Windows, up until ver 2.3 Build 30, cause after that everything good in this program was just stripped from the free version. I've kept the 2.3 version installed, but annoying popups calling for an update appear something like once a day. Not that big a deal. I've used it for something like 2 years at work now. It's awesome that it even indexes network drives, as well as Outlook's PSTs and pretty much everything you'd like a good indexer to index (it opens and indexes the inside of Office docs also, which is AWESOME). The last couple of weeks, however, it's been behaving strangely (it hasn't been indexing correctly) which I believe is due to a recent patch my company implemented on every Windows machine (don't ask me what it is, 'cause they won't tell me). I don't think it's the software's fault it's malfunctioning; I've come to believe that since it's quite an antique version, this new patch they implemented just f*cked up something...I don't know what...but I just don't want to update Copernic because believe me, the latest versions SUCK. I'm going to try something else now, but before doing so I just wanted to leave a comment here for all you guys who want to try this software and recommend you to google for version 2.3, because I've known lots of people who install the latest version and come back to me saying "that software SUCKS!!!". Trust me on this one: ver 2.3 RULES!!!
