Comodo Time Machine (CTM) allows non-commercial users to quickly restore their entire system to an earlier point in time (including the registry, critical operating system files and user created documents). This free tool is especially useful to roll back your system to the last known working state in the event of virus attacks or crashes. If you install CTM you must accept the EULA, which allow only a non-commercial usage. More info »
I see it available on their website - it's free. No comment of it being discontinued. I suppose it's just not updated, and may not work on windows 7, etc.
CTM nearly broke my machine. Scarily difficult to get rid of. I just don't trust it.
Rollback Rx is designed more for Professionals/Enterprise environments. Where CTM was designed more for the individual users. So in away Rollback is superior to CTM. On just the basics of functionality I see no difference plus CTM was under development as of September of 2010 and is now on hold.
This is the only thing listed under alternatives that can compete with Rollback Rx on just about every feature. No other software I have come across that I would consider an alternative to Rollback Rx except for this Software.
CTM already saved my ass several times on the last monthts !
