about Buzzbird Jun 2011

I like this program! It has a simple interface, the right amount of whistles & bells and supports identi.ca and Twitter. It is completely Free as in Freedom, which is a big plus in my book. It is a crying shame that the author has all but abandoned the project because it is magnificent. He should consider donating it to someone who will continue it or fork it, such as GNU. As a matter of fact, GNU may indeed do that because their IceCat browser is very similar...built off of Mozilla framework but stripped of all trademarks, copyrights and proprietary things.
