I don't think "editors for editors" is necessarily a good thing. Unless they're UI designers/editors/programmers/one man armies.

Congratulations on the ad hominem.

I am assuming one has to be a developer in order to make software (such as Avid Media Composer), and hence it was actually "built by computer programmers for editors".

But that's just my pedanticness. At least being pedantic is better than flaming and acting blatantly hostile.
