Authorea Comments

An easy to use online collaborative editor for a subset of LaTeX

Comment by Bitchomp
about Authorea Mar 2016

It is a bit like Small Beaker iconBeaker or Small Jupyter iconJupyter for documents but with free public hosting.
The editor allows for blocks of LaTeX/MarkDown/HTML and pictures. Version control is done with Git.

Documents can be exported to various formats, including: LaTeX, PDF, and HTML.

The citations system is pretty nice.

But there is no support for TikZ or \usepackage{...} in general.
