I hate toolbars altogether, probably the only toolbar I don't mind using is Google's IE toolbar since it provides a Speed Dail for the browser. Now that IE9 will have it own, I have gladly uninstalled it.

And yes I've seen ask prepackage in lots of software, at one point I remember it was prepackage in KMPlayer and there was never an option to op-in or out of installing it.

Out of all the crappy toolbars out there, I hate this one the most. Not that it's more annoying than any other generic toolbar- It's just that Ask.com feels obligated to prepackage this with every piece of software available on the internet, or so it seems. If you're a person who frequently tries new software, you've probably seen an installer prompting you to get the Ask Toolbar at least a couple dozen times by now. It's really quite irritating.
