about anyTV Jun 2011

* Strange things started happening to my computer shortly after I installed it, like:
- when i typed a search in chromes address bar, the words just disappeared (browser changes are always a give-away that something sus' is going on!)
- scarily, when I selected some items in my Win Explorer window, a second later they were unselected! Like a virus....
* Also, it is VERY BUSY with ads AND it puts popups in your face whenever you open it and even just use different features.
Given these two points - plus other people saying their antivirus detected this as a virus (despite many downloads and high ratings on CNET - NOT necessarily a good protection, I'm finding...) - I uninstalled before I even tried much of it.
Why is Google one of the world's richest companies? They beat the other search engines because they didnt SELL their results and had a policy of "don't be evil".
Software devs needs to LEARN THE SAME THING !
