Amie Street has been acquired and shut down by Amazon. Amie Street closed its doors on September 22nd, 2010. The website now redirects to the Amazon online store.

The great thing about Amie Street is that all songs start out free, and gradually rise in price (to a maximum of 98 cents) the more they are purchased. There’s no DRM, so you can download a song as many times as you like, and install it on as many devices as you like. Plus you can earn credit by recommending songs.
