    • Darktable lacks any photo organization capabilities. They consider this a feature and state you should organize them on disk outside the app. This is a pretty dumb idea since inside the ap, you can't organize, and outside the app you can't see the changes. Any comparison to Lightroom in this case is silly. 1/2 the (organize & develop) capability is gone. Guest • Jan 2017 Disagree   Agree

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Comments

Sweet photo editing software

Positive Comment by Thelle
about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Picasa Dec 2012

Adobe Lightroom is quite powerful for editing your DSLR photos shot in RAW-file format, and yet the software is relatively easy to use. Highly recommended if you want to do high quality photos.

If you want to quick and dirty editing for free I would recommend using Small Picasa iconPicasa.

Do you own a digital camera ?
Do you shoot more than 500 pictures a year ?
Do you find yourself lost in hundreds of folders with unrelevant naming?

If you find yourself answering yes on any of these questions then Lightroom is a must, it stings a bit in your wallet at first but when you realize how much time and energy you've saved you will end up with a big smile!
