Adapter was the only video converter I could find for Mac OS X that would effectively convert a large number of videos at once. And the interface looks great.
Handbrake is still the best converter for OS X, efficiency-wise; out of all of the converters that I tried, it was the only one that would push my CPU to 100%. But Handbrake's lack of batch encoding (adding multiple videos for conversion at once) is a dealkiller. There's no way I'm adding 25 individual videos to the queue, one at a time.
