What are those bugs some people are talking about?

Some people commented on this application stating that it "is bugged", "has gotten worse", "latest versions don't work" etc. What are these problems? I haven't used Acronis often but it seems to me the newer versions are offering better support in VMs.

Does it fail to backup? Does it make corrupt backup files?
