Wow, this thing is the sh1t. I have been using open source seashore and livequartz, but really they both lack. Acorn seems to have it all, is familiar to photoshop users, even many similar keyboard shortcuts. It is very intuitive, just works how you think it should, little thought involved.

There is now a free version of Acorn, that you can use for forever. Some advanced features are missing in the free, though you get to try them for 14 days. What an awesome way to sell your product, while also providing a free resource to the world.

Get this if looking for a mac image editor less burdonsome than photoshop, but still capable.

Much more useful to me than Photoshop or Gimp because I can actually figure out how to use Acorn. This is the image editor for non-professionals.
