All login features are administered from the "My Account" page. To get there just click the link in the bar at the top of the page.

If you can access your account

On the account page you have a list of the OpenId, Facebook and Twitter accounts currently associated with your AlternativeTo account. Click the link "Add / Change Login Method" and you will see a page similar to the login page. Just click the button representing the login method you want to use and your AlternativeTo account will be associated with that login method. You can have one OpenID, one Facebook and one Twitter account associated with your account on AlternativeTo.

Examples: If you are logged in with your OpenID and then click the Twitter button you will then be able to login with both Twitter and OpenID. If you are logged in with an OpenID and assoicate it with a new OpenID your account will be associated with this OpenID instead of the one you use previously.

The Login Method i want to switch to is already associated with an account

If you try to change your login method to one that is already associated with annother AlternativeTo account you will be logged in as that user instead. What you can do then is to login with that account on AlternativeTo and connect that account to any login method that is not already in use. When you have done that it will be possible to disconnected the login method you want to use for the other AlternativeTo account from that account.

I can't access my account

The first thing to try is to use our "Forgot Login Method" feature on the login page. You will get an e-mail with more info about what login method you used on your account.
