At the moment you can't add two apps with the same name. Our recommendation for now is to add some kind of extra data in the name. One example is the application "Flux" that is an RSS Reader for Windows Phone and a Development IDE for Mac. Maybe add "Flux - Windows Phone 7" or "Flux - RSS Reader". We do not have exact guidelines about this but we trust your common sense :) |

Maybe a program could be identified from both its website and name. I was thinking that a program only has a website but there are companies/programers that put their all programs in only one page. |

Wikipedia's method, "Flux (RSS reader)", "Flux (IDE)" looks nicer, I think, and I would think it's slightly less likely that anyone would get it confused that the part in parentheses is part of the name, than if it just comes after a hyphen. |

Agreed that wikipedia's method looks nice and makes good sence! In that way it would not be confused to be a part of the official name! - Thanks for sharing naught101! |
