Cloning your hard drive can be super handy if you have a Hackintosh, since things almost always go wrong every time you try to update your software. Cloning your hard drive means that you always have a backup that you can boot to, just in case the newest OSX update makes the copy on your original hard drive explode. :D Anyways, Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) is free, and the ads aren't particularly intrusive-- you'll be minimizing the application most of the time anyways. |
