Stay with the latest version 2 (build 18) from 2008! Remove the nagging screen by the following method (taken from somewhere else :): In XP just change your system date to 2030, exit / restart CDS, then go to the registry (Start / Run / regedit) Local Machine / Software / Copernic / DesktopSearch2 / System and change the registry key UpdateAvailable from 1 to 0. Then change the clock back to the correct date and you are done. |
