Hi Alternativeto! We have an application pending here: http://alternativeto.net/software/construct-2/ We're concerned it will be confused with this application: http://alternativeto.net/software/construct/ As they both share the same URL. I've updated the second one to point to this URL: http://www.scirra.com/construct-classic Other sites have got confused, they are totally different products! Construct 2 is our freemium game engine, and Construct Classic is our open source game engine that is many years old now. Just checking that it's OK and that they wont get confused with one another and are treated as separate pieces of software! Many thanks, this website seems great! Love the design! Hi Tom, Your colleague Ashley emailed us about this and I think everything has been fixed now. Please have a look at the two applications and let us know if something is incorrect. Best, Markus |

Hi Markus! That's brilliant thank you! On other sites they seem to get really confused and muddle things up, thanks for sorting it out! Tom |

New apps may sometimes end up messing with the consumers just like what I read in an article recently. It says in the article that many longtime consumers of Apple's Final Cut Pro non-linear video editing software were upset when the company upgraded to Final Cut Pro X last summer. The software has been a staple for video editors, pro and amateur, since 1998. But the new edition is incompatible with files from old versions of the software, and the interface has been entirely redesigned. Apple issued update 10.0.3 Tues in an attempt to correct some of the troubles. Article source: New update for FCP X addresses user complaints. |
