Hi, Why not have a tool that can find what apps I have installed on my PC, so that I can like the apps I use a lot without having to go through the whole site. Also, wakoopa already tracks my most popular apps, so how about some integration with Wakoopa? Thanks,

Hi! We have thought about that but we haben't really had the time to build it. It is also a problem that we have to build one for each platform like Windows, Linux and Mac and so on. Maybe an integration with Wakoopa would be a better solution. We will think about it! /Ola |

I really like that this site is NOT wakoopa... I have serious privacy concerns with a website wanting to monitor my application usage. This site is great the way it is, please don't go the scanner route :) |

The scenner could be additional service, only for those who chose to use it. |

I don't see any privacy concerns as well assuming that such a tool would be optional, runs only on demand and has not any other hidden agenda. Scan the PC, list the apps and its matches, then allow the user to select those apps that he/she likes (especially) - the last step is essential IMHO to generate quality data. I guess the biggest problem is finding somebody having it done ;) mistaecko |
