It's an open source and optionally self-hosted replacement, though it doesn't sync anything but bookmarks currently.

It's very flexible and I can use it across lots of different browsers. Plus being able to store the bookmarks on my own server, but not having to, is a nice bonus.

Xmarks synced bookmarks, not passwords. RoboForm syncs passwords, not bookmarks.

Great idea. Simple and right to the point. But still requires development. Cannot add bookmarks on Android, cannot drag/drop from Firefox or import bookmarks.

Easy to install. Despite not being listed it does work with Opera if you have the Install Chrome Extensions installed.

ymarks is a two-component KISS bookmark synchronization service, it consists of a server component which you'll have to run anywhere and a client component which will have to be installed in your browser(s). Its name is a pun on the (now defunct) Xmarks service.
