When I have edited song lists for other peoples iPods, I had always looked for a good program to do that I found this one and it works great, but it was only for windows. More recently I have been using YamiPod, since it works on Windows, Mac and Linux. But this is still a good program.
Sharepod is very lightweight and does not need the updates iTunes seems to constantly have.But Sharepod is unstable. I'm always in the middle of a work out and my iPod has to be rebooted because the music files from Sharepod "froze" in my iPod and it did not play. Until I hassled with rebooting my iPod.
Tried to use this as I am not a fane of Apple software but it screws up too often. Even when it works it just scrambles all of my music. Too unstable and unreliable to be considered.
