Amazing to use with tablet.
Amazing to use in general. A simplified tool-set that has been constantly and aggressively refined and added to since its beginnings makes for an approachable editing application with powerful features at your fingertips. It has improved considerably since release and the development staff are very responsive.
Pixelmator Didn't Get 'Er Done for me. While I like the photo editing, the creative ways you can use type in Photoshop simply can't be beat. I realize the interface is a kludge from years of upgrades/changes/whatever but PixelMater just couldn't do type as well as Adobe. I wish it would, I love editing photos in PixelMater or even iPhoto better than I do in Photoshop.
Not so much an alternative to PhotoShop, but a real (and welcome) alternative to PaintShop Pro for the hundreds of quick image edits that most of us need in our daily work.
