I've been living fine with only ImgBurn. You can use it to burn everything from disc images to data discs, audio CD, DVDs, etc. It doesn't support encoding/conversion of files though.
Nero will not be missed :P
One of the best recording softwares around.
It supports .bin/.cue files, which makes me choose it over a number of other cd burning apps. I had to adjust to the small icons which weren't immediatly obvious to me on first glance though, and the burn-button which isn't highlighted if you don't have an adequate empty medium in the drive, but it's definitely usable.
One of the best and easiest ISO burners available, paid or otherwise.
