Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended impressed me today with how small a PDF file it makes. Tweeked the settings carefully and got an A4 page B/W 300dpi - 20Kb. Other PDF software was gobbling up disk space, especially the free stuff that came with the Lexmark printer.
